For those who are curious abt how rose apples tastes like...umm if they are ripe and red (like the fruits in the video), they taste good (a bit sweet, a bit dry but watery enough when you chew them) they have crunchy texture so it's fun to eat them 😁 (almost similar to apples)

we have a larger variaty its called pommerak and its lovely we eat it on its own and pickle it we collect it from the forest here in suriname but i will try the beef version it looks lovely

Jambu is the kind of fruit you eat only because there's no other fruits around. The unripe ones are sour and the ripe ones are rarely sweet. It's pretty to look at when they turn red but I won't go out of my way to buy them.

We have that fruit here at the house its color green and if it is ready to eat it turns to light green. It is my first time to know that it is called rose apple... here, we called it (TAMBIS).
