I honestly like this trilogy , especially the third film.

Very underrated trilogy. I can only hope The Batman has this cinematography and level of quality.

To me this is the best trilogy ive ever seen, everything about these movies was perfect, the plot, the characters, the motovation, the emotion, the acting, the visuals, the score(especially the track used in this video). Its the only trilogy thats made md cry and i can't wait for the next one coming next year, im sure itll be as amazing as the trilogy

What I love about Matt reeves style is the fact that he can be so personal with his characters. His focus is rarely on the spectacle or the background, but the character. Which with the character focus, with things happening in the background, makes it’s own spectacle. And what else I love that some directors don’t do is hold on a frame, no need for fancy camera spins and all that, the frame can speak for itself. Something that Matt reeves and Dennis villeneuve understand, with the help of there cinematographers of course Greg Frasier and Michael Serisin. Greg Frasier specifically has been killing it lately with rouge one, blade runner 2049 and Dune. So Matt reeves and Greg Frasier will be a lethal combination for the Batman. As a aspiring filmmaker, this is the type of style I want, personal camera shots that bring you into a characters feelings and situation instead of taking you out of it with the visuals. Other inspirations of mine are David Fincher, Rian Johnson and who I mentioned earlier Dennis villeneuve. (He does have spectacle, but how he holds a frame and handles the camera is inspiring and feels right to me).

No words needed. EPIC! You know a film is in the category of GREATNESS when...you're not sad bc the movie mad you cry....you are sad bc IT - IS - OVER...
