I feel like Chung Chung Hoon rarely gets enough recognition that he truly deserves. He's criminally underrated as a cinematographer. His camera work and the use of color fits perfectly for the Willy Wonka vibe

Wonka's cinematography is really good in other movies these days either polluted or foggy. Overuse of colour grading and filters. I don't feel the vibe when they show nature through the screen whereas in 70s 80s 90s and 2000s and those vibes are very prominent as every natural object like furniture, Stones etc had a feel to it. My favourite movies are those that focus mostly on American suburbs I watch them even though the story is not in some of the movies just to feel the vibes of trees and houses and fields.
