It's a great motorcycle for the street. All day comfortable, but the high quality suspension and 17's give it the ability to handle like a real bike.

Just picked a xb12scg in Dec. I look at it every time I get in my car waiting for the snow to melt. But now after seeing this, the ULY is a much better do it all bike and maybe I should’ve gotten one of these lol

@@normanparthiban4383 ah, especially of you need the lower seat, the Scg is a good ride too. Probably better on a closed course.. But I would agree that the xb12x is one of the best all around sport bikes ever produced. I have done several 400-500mi days touring on it, some track adventures, and tons of mountain and canyon rides, and it does the business wearing all those hats. The only real drawback is it's reliability and scarcity of replacement parts.

Depends on which road you're talking about. Slower stuff, I'm probably mostly in 2nd gear. Faster sweepers are 90+mph in 4th. But learn to feel what the bike wants, and try to keep it in the powerband. The Buell requires a surprising amount of shifter work for a 1200cc bike.. Get yourself some high quality professional training, and find some folks that will help you out with basics to ride with regularly. Motorcycling is all about constantly learning and practicing. Reaching new levels, and keeping foundational skills sharp.

I have the Buelltooth stainless pipe. It's pretty short and damn loud, but really opened up the flow and sounds great.
