What is amazing is that the workers worked so hard but we're not given a proper blue print . A layer loose bricks which have been properly laid and packed should go below the layer of RCC . The walls should have been at least 8" thick or even 10" thick . The outer should have been given the same plaster as the inner wall . The inner layer of bricks is good .

This is an atrocity no matter what you dress it with.cowboys builders. No foundation, rendering the inside of the water cistern and no plumbing is no extraordinary building technique.

The slab IS the foundation. We saw the builders apply render to the interior. Plumbing comes later. I don't see a problem here. These guys did a great job on a shoestring budget.

no waterproofing, impossible to be cleaned on some point in time as well! You will have to brake it and make a hole inside to get in.... Useless construction material used as well bad project setup!

there is a chemical that mixed with cement for waterproofing. I think its a temporary tank so they don't need to be cleaned, as you can see there is a gap in the top cement for cleaning purpose. 15:34

This is not the way. Lay a concrete slab of 4" at bottom, raise bricks from the edges of the concrete.

This water tank is not properly constructed. Columns are not built around the water tank, and the tank is more likely to break in an earthquake.
