Nice spot for the sunrise Scott. In northern Maine, Mt. Katahdin is the first place in the USA to see the sun. Although, I will stay down south and not climb the big snow capped mountain for nothing. I do have friend's and relative's who have, I'm a lil 98 lbs. I would be a pop stick hehe

Cool, I have been blessed to have seen the sun set from here several times, no matter what it is still awe inspiring. I, have seen both sunrise and sunset from the summit of Mauna Loa too, looking over Hilo is fun too. Thanks for showing us the falls after the storm

I think your time lapse would be better if you'd set the camera on a tripod outside of your truck using a polarizing filter. Because of the glare shinning on top of your hood from the sun. I'm not the one that gave you a thumbs down. Been following you from the begining.

Beautiful video! You will have to excuse me because I have to use this to bring up the subject of flat earth and the massive amount of followers that mistaken idea has. This guy was atop of the tallest mountain in the middle of the Pacific Ocean at "Sunrise". According to you (flat earthers), we should be able to see without any obstruction the whole "disc" of the earth... We don't. But then you would say "No, because of the clouds and the thickness of the atmosphere!"... Granted! But we should see the sun hovering over the horizon at all times as the brightest star at the distance, or at least the glow of the atmosphere caused the distant sun! But no... We se the sun "rise" over the horizon... Due to the eastward rotation of the spherical planet earth. There is another point... Perspective! You don't see the sun coming at you getting gradually bigger as it reaches the cenit, the sun has the same size (almost, because it looks bigger at the horizon due to the density of the atmosphere) from the moment it appears till noon. This only is possible because the sun is a star that is 150 million kilometers from earth and the earth is a spherical planet that rotates to the east once every 24 hours.
