Wow, you are pretty skilled. The craftmanship on those bumpers is just absolutely amazing! I really like the paint job. Personally I would have swapped that stock engine to a 1.3 4E-FTE and transformed that sucker into a fun little party truck. Stuuuutuuutuutuu

Yes... This one has never been cut in half or had the steering changed over to the other side. I was horrified to see what gets done to them in the Philippines..I refused to buy one even I lived there...I love those trucks had one in Canada

That was quite a transformation! Thank you for this educational and inspirational video. You have mad metal fab skills. Do you recall which gray bed liner you used for the camo paint? I'd like to spray the bed of a kei truck with a heavy coat of black bed liner and spray the rest of the truck, inside and out, with a medium or dark matte gray. Amazon shows dove gray and mesa gray and they look the same to me. There's a basalt gray that's probably closer to what I want but I could only find it in single cans which would be very expensive for the entire truck. Maybe I'll get the custom tint I want from an auto paint store. I wonder if I could Dremel out the cracks in my 4Runner dash, fill with epoxy and microballoon putty, sand, and use Raptor bed liner to spray the dash inside the vehicle because it's probably a two day job for me to remove and reinstall the dash. It'd probably take a few hours to mask the car interior.

just a thought, but have you thought of getting an f10a engine for that little carry, it was used in the samurai and its very similar to the f5a used in that year carry with just one more cylinder, should fit in pretty easily

I love the idea of a cab over pick up truck. I wish one of the sellers of pickup trucks would break the mold and sell that type of truck in the US. They have the basic structure in US vans all they have to do is enclose the cab area and replace the box for a bed.
