This area of Ukraine reminds me of the Appalachian Mountains where I live. Such a beautiful spot in the world. Their culture is very wholesome. We all think we work 'hard'. But there is something so satisfying about working hard physically to prepare nutritious delicious meals instead of hustling to work in traffic and stopping by for fast food on the way home. I would love to know how they make money - because that is still necessary in this crazy world. I pray they will all continue to be safe.

I really enjoyed this video and I was sorry when it ended. I found it very interesting and I’m happy to see the people of Ukraine cooking with what they grow on their land and the livestock they rear. These are hard working decent and humble people who are to be admired. I especially loved seeing the loving married couples cooking together and supporting each other, this warmed my heart so much. The Ukrainian people do NOT deserve the atrocities that are happening to them in their own country. Everything being destroyed and many countless lives lost, for what? Please God I beg you to plead the blood of Jesus over the land of Ukraine and everything on it including it’s people 🙏❤️

Awesome video. It reminds me of how I grew up in a small farming community. My mom cooked on a wood burning stove and our food came from our gardens and the animals that we raised or hunted. No fast food joints back in those days.

Amazingly the childhood memories come back. My grandma came from Lithuania and are traditional cooking was the same❣️I sure do miss cooking with fat back! She lived to be 89 years old 💕God bless the Ukrainian people 🙏🙏

I just love their homes and their pottery. The one woman cooking inside showed how cozy their homes are. Her cupboards were beautifully carved. I noticed though how much fat is in their foods yet they are all so healthy looking. It’s all that hard work that keeps them strong. Beautiful country and ppl. To live surrounded by beautiful nature and farm animals is a life I’d love ! God bless them all!🙏💕🙏

Beautiful video. Being from south in USA I love the use of fat back for cooking but am amazed at the amounts used! The meals are so labor intensive but the pride shows with each dish prepared. A real joy to watch.
