Not armatures. Those rings are for the field coil to go in. The armature spins in the center of those field coils, right where the big hole is in the center. steve

I need about 60 lbs of this electrical steel, about 4"- 6" wide and coiled up for a toroid transformer capable of roughly 20kw, could these guys possibly be a supplier , I need to keep it under 65-70 lbs for shipping reasons, and would possibly be getting more in the future.

I wonder what instrumentation (if any) they use for insulation testing and coil resistance testing on those stators? A VERY different production league to modern Chinese factories where most steps are automated.

Finally some newer machinery for metal stamping. The die makes both the rotor and the stator. The rotor is blanked out of the center first (the guy on the right is grabbing those), then the stator gets blanked out.
