As a retired heavy line tech these videos always amaze me. I can't tell if any of these guys have had any formal training or if it just years of experience but they know what they are doing. Plus engines like this one are designed to be serviced/rebuilt in the field. My family were all farmers so I have seen the same scene in my uncles barn many times.

@@olamabambi4193 I have no idea! I have never seen anyone do that and generally would not recommend it. Maybe it wasn't oil but some kind of sealer or that could be a practice for that engine. I always wanted a clean, dry, straight surface to offer the head gasket the best clamping surface possible. I wish I could talk to these guys.

they might have went to tech school but not sure. It doesn't really matter though. It's all experience.

@@sagheer.a4988 I am sure that much of this skill is by experience and passed down knowledge . But I still would not be surprised if there is some technical training in there somewhere.

An entire tractor worth of hazardous fluids spilled in record time. Very impressive. Upside: With all that solvent being flung around, none of these guys will ever develop to toe nail fungus. Downside: None of them has a liver anymore. Torque specs: Hand tight + change wrench + quarter turn. That being said these are all good men providing for their families as best they can.

I helped an old time mechanic inframe overhaul a 220 cummins, when we put the head bolts in I asked him what the torque should be he said all you can pull with that breaker bar which was about 2 feet long. Thats what we did, that was in 1974, My Dad bought the truck from his company three years later and I bought it from him in 1984, I ran it till 2000 and sold it. Never lost a head gasket.

Не увидел процесса хонингования. А расточной похожий был у моего покойного товарища. Трактор сделан очень ремонтно пригодным. Никаких специальных приспособлений, все просто в полевых условиях ! Военная техника.

Kênh hay ! Tay nghề cao . Sửa chữa máy chuyên nghiêp . Nhưng phần vệ sinh máy chưa đảm bảo sạch sẽ . Phải có máy sịt hơi khí nén để thổi bay thật sạch bụi cát . Sang Việt Nam mua 1 cái máy nén khí về mà làm . Chúc kênh luôn gặp nhiều niềm vui phát đạt và thành công .

Guys are good workers, awesome job!! first I thought he was going to do an in frame rebuild and then he has the whole block out, ! one log holding that front of that tractor up no jackstands oh my goodness little scary I worked on tractors for years and over here I’d have three or four jackstands & a 4 ton jack in the front, I’d be worried about losing a couple toes if anything fell on my feet though I have to have my boots

Они автоматы на коленке напильником делают стволы дрелью сверлят а вы трактор ,ну лихо без переворотов ,больше всего их керхер понравился ,а при союзе двигателя снемали в парилку с каустикой на мойку отправляли.
