I worked for Amazon for about a year, hated it and it financially ruined me. Yet i still love coming back to these videos to reminisce 😂

@@James-wp4jq I was a 1.0 driver so had to pay for van rental but was only given about 3/4 days working a week, which isn't much once you've taken off the cost of the van. They also charged me £3000 ish for a few scrapes and wear and tear once I handed it back in - still paying it back now 18 months later!

Well done Zac 👍🏻 I winced when I saw you had 324 parcels - that is an insane workload. Glad you were swept as otherwise you could have been out for another hour. Hated it when you are on your last bags and the multi-drops start going crazy 😱

just quit myself after 4 months getting between 170-190 stops every shift. Delivering is fun, amazon make it miserable with those workloads

Yesterday I had 138 stops at Hermes but like 147 parcels. I thought that was difficult. 2 weeks ago it was peaceful all a sudden chaos as a delivery driver 😂

hope you doing ok Zac. Had a flex block the other day , where i had to collect a return from a locker and take it back, got the locker open and ..nothing in it . didnt really know what to do tbh.kept asking me to scan the parcel, that i did not have. You had that situation?

It’s run in different waves (times to leave depot ). Has to be like that to allow hundreds of vans to load and get away

It's more to do with the trucking overnight and promises to customers that they can order sometimes upto 10pm for next day deliveries...

At my depot vans load first in the morning then on a afternoon when I've done a drs route a few times I've saw the flex loading there cars

@@RoaminRob yeah, 9pm used to be the cut off time but Amazon increased it to 10pm - which I personally think is mad. I wouldn’t put it past them to increase it to 10.30pm.

oh god lol. I earn 122 day with my DSP and 133 pre-peak and blackfriday extra like 7-8 quid and for christmas hopefully minimum 150. still all slave money. but only getting 100 stops with a few farms. @@ZacJonesKZfaq

What happens if you get parking ticket when your delivering

Driver has to pay for it, along with speeding tickets and any other type of ticket incurred on the job. Amazon drivers don't work directly for Amazon, they work for individual delivery service partners on a self employed basis. This means they don't have any employee rights or benefits whatsoever.

yeah! luckily touch wood it didn't go higher! However yesterday was a killer I am never working a black friday again. i had 360 parcels 180 stops. 16 bags 38 overflows i didnt finish till 8:30pm @@Zpeter84.

@@ScvmmN yes mate done deliveries in various jobs now for 33 years,with the council now as mortgage is payed plus am 59 now you get all knobs saying I can 170 plus jobs I was a supervisor and there just laughing at you
