Amazon Echo Hub First Look - Control your smart home from one location

I had a chance to see the Amazon Echo Hub, up close and personal during the 2023 Amazon Fall Event. I spoke to Amazon Director of Smart Homes, Charlie French about this new product that can control many different devices in your smart home with the tap of a button.
The Echo Hub should hit the market later this year in 2023.

great video - only concern for me is the device seems a little slow, and also hoping it wont be flooded with Alexa tips or Amazon ads the way Echo Shows are..

Only problem I foresee is ads or Alexa for your day rammed down your throat. Just like all their other devices with screens.

I guess (hope) this is primary for control of devices so it does not show the clock/ads by default... or not

They're definitely gonna need to speed this up. Dude says he has then in his office and stuff.... How is he satisfied with the speed

Why buy this when you can get the echo show 15 and do all this ? 8” screen seems small to me

Echo SHow 15 cant act as an alarm keypad, the closet thing it has to smart homec control is the widget and you cant even control groups with that

All amazon devices are slow and laggy apart from the stick devices. This is no better

Sounds good but echo shows are full of garbage spam and ads so who would want one in their house.
