Guys, don't do it. If you're already on seller central look through the forums. Reality will hit you really hard and quick. IT IS NOT A GET RICH QUICK SCHEME. IT IS A GO BROKE QUICK SCHEME because Amazon will bend you over with SOOOO MANY FEES. That's not mentioning ad costs. If you think you're going to launch a product with less than $3k in advertising budget alone in 2024 you are in for a rude awakening. Don't make the same mistake I did. $30k in just to realize this was probably one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made.

Sorry to hear that. What method did you use to sell on Amazon? That could be a factor that affected the results. It's true though that Amazon is not a get rich quick scheme and this is something that people should take note of.

shoulda got a mentor probably woulda been way cheaper and probably woulda had more successful advertising or product launch you can’t say it’s a get broke quick scheme when there’s literally millions of ppl doing it lol unless u think they’re all lucky your doing something wrong and probably need to adjust strategy and sounds like you wanted to get rich quick instead of trying to actually run a business online to the point it becomes passive

Hey Travis,had question about listing new product? I’m having trouble for product id. I got my code from gs1 but now it’s saying that the sku does not match any Asin and contains invalid value for attributes required for creation of a new asin? If I submitted my listing would it give me new asin or it has to do with my upc code?

That looks like a validation issue. You can open a case about this and submit documentations to them to prove that you are the owner of the code

Hiya, thanks for the comprehensive video and explanation. I would like to ask two questions, First, creating LLC is the only way to sell in the USA if the seller is out of the USA? Second question, what is the difference between having privately controlled business and individual seller in FBA ? I mean after creating a professional seller account? Does this change Amazon fees in selling same as the individual seller free account?

I saw one comment that says don’t do it because losing money and being broken. Can you please explain that why that person recommended not to do it. Hey there! Some sellers have failed in their Amazon business because of using the wrong method. They used traditional ones like private label and wholesale which no longer work at this time. Yes, you can but it might be difficult to do that to be honest. For the business address, you can put in your home address if the two are the same.

I'm thinking to sell books (specifically self help) on Amazon using fba ,then these sites like Alibaba and your fourth method of selling will work or whole set of different way should be used,also tax thing and from where should I do sourcing scares me and at then many people suggest to do buisness in US irrespective of your origin then again come same issue of sourcing and tax that too of 2 different countries i m way confused, anxious and frustrated, because of this only i can't start even from many months i m thinking to start my online store .there are many more questions and confusions plz help

You need to call this Amazon FBA private label as Amazon FBA by itself is a separate business model that includes online and retail arbitrage and wholesale of brand name products. What you’re teaching is people to launch their own private label brand and sell it through Amazon FBA.

I simply mentioned that Amazon FBA isn’t equivalent to the business model he promoted as there are other business models and other distribution methods (including FBM) and he’s conflating the two as if they’re one and the same and they’re not. As there’s numerous other business models as far as the type of product to be sold.
