If you are just starting out and don’t have as much money or just want to save money UPS gives away the paper for free you just have to have an account( you can get the rolls or just the sheets and they are 4*6) I got mines the next day

ive been wanting to start a small online business, and i want it to be a business that motivates people to take care of their skin and to feel pretty with or without makeup, because our skin really is precious and ik that sounds cheesy but really! i want to start selling lip scrubs, lip gloss, oils that u put on ur skin and it helps ur skin! ur such an inspiration!

I definitely got like 4 or 5 things I never thought of! & idk if u discovered this yet or not.... but I found out about thermal printers for shipping labels! FREAKING amazing! It will save u a ton of money bcuz u NEVER have to buy ink! Yes! Mind blowing. It does a heat burn print somehow. Like laser without ink. Check it out if u havent heard of it yet. & I am obsessed with my white board & my planner! It really is necessary! Otherwise u literally cant keep up! It gets CRAZY!! Stay blessed!

I have 3 hard drives back up of back up. I learned my lesson when my computer crashed I cried like a baby. What made it worst I had already baught a 2TB hard drive but procrastinated on backing things up.

Thanks for this video, it was very informative. I just have one question. Do you need a regular printer apart from the dymo? For example, for invoices?

No problem! And no you can actually print your invoices with the dymo printer just make sure you reset the print settings so that you can fit the full invoice on one sheet.

So I want to ask every here who has started a small e-commerce business. What state/province are you in and what legal actions did you have to take? Did you register your business name? Make a business bank account?

Hey! So I'm currently in the process of starting my own boutique and I've done a bunch of research on legal actions. This website tells you how to register for a sales tax permit in each state: blog.taxjar.com/how-to-register-for-sales-tax-permits/. From what I've learned, wherever you are located you are required to register your business with that state and collect sales tax from your customers located in that state. So for me I registered my business online in Georgia and used my home address because I'm only selling online. You'll hear about an EIN which is not required if you are a sole proprietorship, but I recommend doing it anyway so that whenever you are asked for a social security number you'll use the EIN rather than your personal SSN for your business. You'll want to register for an EIN before registering your business with your state so that you have that number for the application. I don't plan on opening a business bank account anytime soon so I'm not sure what you'll need for that. I'm buying wholesale for my boutique so there are a few more steps I had to take, but I'm happy to help if you have any other questions!

camera best to go with also is a camera t5i as long as it just still photos or quick videos. you can even use a iphone 7-11pro all the way from a 7 to a 11 pro is good enough for product photography. and a dymo is great but the only reason why is because its a dpi of 300, and so is a label range label printer thats on amazon right now for $119 . i have it and it works just like the new expensive rollo machine that works better than a dymo. dymos are more expensive for no reason. all you need to look for is a dpi of 300. that means its dark enough to print on shipping labels. dpi of 203 is only enough for a basic store receipt printer good luck mami
