as a former amazon packing employee, we get told what box to put the item in even if we know its too big we cant change it unless we notice the box is too small to fit the item in. We could also get points for every time they noticed we used the "wrong box". I always thought it was terrible but we can get in trouble just for wanting a smaller box lol

This is definitely a great Kit for the price. As a creator the brushes slipping apart is not a big deal and is expected at that price. A little fabric glue or gorilla glue that most people have around the house will do. Overall this is great for beginners who don’t want to cash all the way out then realizing they don’t want to go all in. My husband spent $600 on Amazon for nail stuff. So excited to see what all comes I’m doing an unboxing too 🥰.

I ordered this same kit a while back. As a beginner I'd say the acrylic was hard to work with. It dried really fast so I wouldnt suggest it if you're just starting. Although, everything else in the kit I still use.

@@KonigsBbg you have to dip your bush in the monomer when your done to make sure you get all the acrylic off then pat dry. Maybe that will help

I LOVE the clear pink that comes in those kits lol its lowkey a huge staple for me. It's the BEST for encapsulating because once you encapsulate with it, you can barely tell its pink but it adds this super pretty glow to the nail. It's amazing. It also looks super cute matte so I love the clear pink. Maybe that's an unpopular opinion lol

I bought one of the Amazon sets similar to this. I’m a professional nail tech and I was curious to see how it compared to higher end brands like Aksentz (Canadian brand) and Kiara Sky. The kit was okay, the acrylic powders were tiny but the builder gel, tools and nail glue were alright for the price.

I bought the same kit but w a bit more add ins and it was only $55 bucks, came w the drill, the light to set the nails and a lot more I would suggest getting that one. It really sets you up w the necessary items. The only things I bought separately were a buffer, soak off, and the monomer containers to hold it while your doing the nails

The smoking is normal too lol it usually says in the pamphlet we never read never to use paper towels or napkins to wipe up nail glue or super glue because it can cause a fire. It has an exothermic reaction when it dries.

Nail glue has a tendency to smoke when large amount touch paper/cloth. Ive seen this before with super glue. 🙂

Yes anything flammable will catch on fire. Thats due to all the chemicals... it gets really hot and it will create friction thus a fire.

I burned a hole in a dress with nail glue awhile back 😩 it was a super cute t-shirt dress, I was sad. But now I wear it sometimes when I do nails bc it doesn't matter if I mess it up anymore lol.

Also just a tip the acrylic brushes or any brushes almost always have packing dust in them to help hold the shape you really have to work it out with your fingers before putting the brush in the monomer and it will definitely help keep the acrylic from sticking to the brush and make it just work better even the lousy brushes. It is definitely recommended to get that dust out before anything. I just love this thanks so much for your effort to make videos for us

As someone who use to pack orders for another company, a lot of times we run out of the correct size boxes so we have to use the next one available. If not then we just ship the item as it.

I am a beginner but i do just wanna say since she didnt buff her nails or the tips before applying acrylic, that COULD be a possible reason they weren’t going on very nicely. Also, for the wonky brushes, maybe apply some nail glue to the inside to help keep it on there

Great video, thanks for showing us this kit. I’ve never seen anyone put on a gel top coat first, but they came out great. Does the gel help them adhere to the nail better and cut out the prep time? Nails look so good!

Since the brushes kept on falling apart you should’ve just used all of that nail glue to glue the brushes back together

Ugh u made it look so easy with the acrylic. I guess cause im still a new comer to it. It does have its disadvantages for me cause of that. But im still learning. I love the dip nail kits so i figure step it up with the acrylic. I love these mini kits. I really need to get the nail cutter. After that im set with everything else. Thanks for sharing. Makes me want to whip my nails out and do it again.

Nail glue and monomer does some scary stuff they can’t mix I believe. The monomer would have me wondering if it was good or not. But I guess you can’t tell until soak off. Your end result looked good! I want frenchies now

lolz i worked at amazon boxing items. its not a person picking the box, the computer tells us what box to use to box the item. sometimes for some reason the computer thinks its a big item. i use to hate that too so i would use a different box that would fit it more. but sometimes if the item can be broken like the containers we use a bigger box on purpose so we can put the bubble wrap in so your items wont get damaged

As a Amazon worker. We have to pick and pack the products to be as safe as possible. Don't won't anything to be damage. So we pack in a bigger box to stuff it so it will not move or bump anything for it to cause damage.

The nail glue happened with me too I had a nail kit similar to that one and I spilled the nail glue and my carpet starting smoking I had to grab water.

Nail glue or any kind of super glue should not come in contact with cotton small amounts won’t do any damage but if to much nail glue comes in contact with cotton it can cause a fire. Learned that the hard way 😂😭

With that cheap Chinese glue it certainly will do damage even a small amount of that stuff will cause things to start literally smoking had this exact same kit that glue is not safe at all

@@AaronW-ww4ds ummmmmm it’s got nothing to do with “cheap Chinese glue”, any type of cyanoacrylate based glue WILL produce heat when come in contact with certain materials, superglue does the same thing. Please do your research before speaking

I think you should’ve used the pink acrylic because it looked more natural. If you think about it, your nails have a pink tint to them, and it would help if you used the pink acrylic.

omg!!!! i have that nail glue from a similar nail kit and i spilled it on my hand and it felt hot on my hand. didnt burn or leave burn marks but definitely got hot on my hand briefly
