Very helpful video. I was looking for an outdoor shade like the one you showed in the video and this is the one I needed for my project. The bamboo roll up blind I was considering buying was fancier and more for indoors and more expensive than the one you showed in the video. This one will get the job done for what I need. I am glad you showed the installation too and provided the Amazon link to buy it. Thank you.

How do you use the plastic pieces when you want to roll it up? I tried to use them but I was afraid they would puncture. The bamboo.. I bought separate hooks from Amazon because the ones that came in the package with the shade didn't look strong enough.i bought were like for Christmas lights. Hooks but they close. Amazon has them on the same page with the blinds. And how do you use the plastic pieces when you want to roll them up? Can you answer please. Thank you

How’s it holding up when it comes to elements like rain?

So far it’s great! Just make sure you roll it up when it’s not in use, that’ll definitely help it last longer. I don’t, but it’s still in great shape!

I don't roll mine up when it rains. You might want to wipe it with towels after it rains. Gentle.

You didn't show how much it swung in the breeze or noise it made? Shade quality? Ease of rolling up? What did you do with string hanging down when rolled up.

If you have a constant breeze, it will swing a lot. I definitely recommend securing it or rolling it up which is super easy! For the ease of not having to mess with it, I don’t roll this one up, so it’s secured with zip ties now. I hope that helps!!

Doesn't make any noise when it is Wendy. You can try to rolling up with those plastic hooks but I don't know how. When it got windy on my porch I put a chair in the front and the back of it the kind of keep it steady
