I wanted to unbox and review the Amazon Omni QLED TV. TWO WORDS: AMBIENT EXPERIENCE! I have owned the Amazon Fire Omni TV since it came out and was excited to see the changes Amazon made with the Omni QLED. More than the picture quality, the software gives a next level experience. Nice Review! Thx! As an AV Pro Integrator who has used C4, Savant, RTI. I have switched ALL my projects to Ring Sec, with The new Hub, and Or Echo Show 15, created a great dashboard for control on the Show 15 + ( Home Assistant, Or Homey Pro ) tied to the newer Omni series, I can control it all and with far better automation than any of the big three systems. The only component missing is a better remote. Although the Remote2 by Unfolded circle is coming soon. Or the AVA remote. This is THE future people!! My first question to customers is " How much do you want to spend to turn a TV on and Off!? With these TV's now having a great picture with widget access across the spectrum of devices, I'll never sell another overpriced PITA sammy Frame TV again! So again, it's the features with the AWESOME Amazon support that has won me over. This is just the beginning of control as well. Soon enough Amazon will have a mini LED TV or even OLED, then it's case closed if your a Pro like myself.

@@buddaflyfx it’s working, but I’ve noticed pixilation issues. I enjoy talking to the tv, but I wouldn’t recommend beyond that.

Been impressed with this tv. Honestly everything looks fantastic. Need some help with KZfaq tv app though - seems to be most inconsistent and some channels looks terrible on the 75 inch screen. Looks like over compressed bad HD. A few KZfaq channels look good. But most look way to noisy. Need help

Hi! Can you run a network test on the fire tv settings? It sounds like the connection might be weak for the KZfaq app and it setting the resolution automatically to 360p,480p,1080p etc with minimal upscaling.

@@TheFrenchGlow 118.06 mbs -- which should be better as it is literally right above by fiber gateway 1GB up and down, but is normally closer to 500 GB up and down. its connected to 5Ghtz channel 149, signal strength high. I had a firetv max stick plugged into hdmi 1, than i think was also causing it to bug out, i was trying to test on the firestick as well, and the tv kept on saying there was nothing on input hdmi 1. I've disconnected the firetv max stick for now as well. no question though the youtube.tv interface is much laggier/slower than when i'm using the firetv max stick. just not as good perfomance.

Thanks! The hisense picture is better image quality with better color saturation with less fine tuning and I have the Google TV interface on my Sonys and other TVs (great if you have pixel phones) ..but honestly, I put my LG c1 in my basement and using the Omni QLED in my living room now. Once you try the ambient experience from Amazon, it's hard to go back because it turns the biggest screen in the center of your house into a infotainment center + verbal commands + tv responds to motion and light. In terms of picture quality, the amazon qled will not win awards...but I'm guessing in 4 to 8 months, the omni qled will be 30-40% off on prime day or another sale.

I got this exact same TV just yesterday, and I’m loving it! Personally, I’m with you on the Integration aspect. HUGE selling point for me. Appreciate you touching on the color editing feature, as well. Glad you like yours.

I agree with you 100%. EXACTLY! Ambient Experience is a game changer. I didn't expect to like it as much as I did and I am using this in my living room over my LG C1.

My backlighting is going out on my $269 2nd Walmart u6 Hisense 58". I'm looking for a 65" that i can see HDR well on from about 12 feet away in a very dark room. I don't game or anything. I just stream & HDR movies are 6 that's most likely my backlighting.

Hi! What's your budget? I got a refurb 75" sony x90j for about 500 and it's been great. If you used a cc with extended warranty on the u6 and it's still in coverage, I would file a claim asap. Otherwise, I do like 2023 insignia panels for value and the amazon qled for prime day. Hisense has the brighter panels (I use a u6 in my guest room) but has a higher chance of quality control issues.

I love the integration features. But only viewing TV at 60Htz is a little concerning for me. I game in a separate computer/gaming monitor. So, that is not a concern for me. Its the fast pace movies and sports that worries me.

yeah its pretty bad. i have an older 4k tv and its 60hz i cant do anything on it, or watch anything. unless its very slow it gives me motion sickness with the lag.

Hi! Yes still working well. Regarding software issues, it could be related to the fire os but I found factory reseting (not ideal but something I do when fire os has issues with cache or slow loading) does solve most os issues. For hardware, I would be shocked if the qled is not on super sale for upcoming prime day, so cheap you can't ignore it.

The main reason I have been considering it is because they have interest free payment plans on the 43 inch . I could get it with 2 echo dots and have a little home theatre in my room without breaking the bank. If not I will have to pat full price on either a tcl 450g or refurbished Samsung tu690 cause those are all that I can budget at this time.

With this price and (lack of) picture quality, Amazon should have thrown in a touch screen if they really are focusing on experience

@@TheFrenchGlow All the bells and whistles don't matter. The picture quality is what matters. Value is the best picture for the money. Forget about the junk. Most would hook a streaming solution to the tv anyways.
