Yay! I love mine! I have a new Newfie puppy who tracks in lots of dirt from the yard so it's awesome to have the Braava! He barks at it, though LOL

How has this held up?

Like new! I use it about once a week. More if it's rainy out and the pup and I are tracking in mud.

It's quieter than a robotic vacuum. The noise you're hearing is when it is dispensing the liquid. This is also in a room with no other sound and no furniture to absorb any sound.
