Today I'm going to take a look at the Weslo G 5.9i Cadence Treadmill. This is the most reviewed treadmill on Amazon most likely due to it's price, but is a cheap treadmill a good idea? Let's find out!

Thank you for a great review. I was wondering if maybe the speed calculation was off because the belt length measurement was approximate AND there was no one walking on it? You really need to know the exact length of the belt and have a person on it because the motor will behave differently with weight. Btw, I have this treadmill and use it for walking (3.3 and 3.5 mph) and I love it. Great value for the money!

@coach.b 2 жыл бұрын
@@JayJay-jf2zj No, you don't. If you skimmed the instructions you'll be led to believe you do and it's probably intentional that the manufacturer wrote the instructions that way. This overrides the offer for you to subscribe.

does it have automatic incline and did you lubricate the deck under the belt? If it didn't come with the deck lubricant you definitely need to apply some if you say it tends to stress under load. That will also prolong the life of the machine and reduce excessive wear on the motor, belt and deck.
@coach.b

No automatic incline. It came with some lubricant that looks like Vaseline, but no mention of what to do with it.. What kind of lubricant do you use, and could you explain further how and where to apply it? Thanks so much. I like this treadmill, but I only use it for walking.
@coolelectronics1759
@coolelectronics1759 Жыл бұрын
@@SC-ls3iv yeah the vaseline stuff just apply it onto the smooth wooden surface under the rubber belt that you walk on. Once you applied it you can walk it in to help it spread a bit across the wood. This helps to allow it to glide better I use the same stuff you can get on amazon and mine comes with a stick sponge to help you get under the belt to spread it around onto the wood.

To get a more accurate reading, you need to take into account the length of belt under the front cover and the length of belt curving around the rear and front rollers. The speed may still be off slightly, but would be closer. Also, speed really doesn't matter. What matters is your heart rate. For the price, can't complain
