In this video I tested a couple of top rated can crushers and one not so top rated from Amazon! If you want to recycle and save room by crushing cans, then yes this is the best way to do it. They all crushed cans but in different ways, all these can crushers were fun to test out but the heat outside was not fun, 110 degrees of full blown sun. I left links for ALL of them below so you can check them out.

Maybe the winner out of the 3, but that design fails pretty quickly. The arms bend over time. The first 2 crushers, are just ridiculous. I'm looking at buying the Master Crush. Seems like the most sturdy available.

Great Vid Gadget Sal! Love your videos. I would've rated the first one a 1 since it broke on the first use. The 2nd one seems like too much work thus making the 3rd one a clear winner. Just wish the third one automatically dumped the cans out. Would love to see a part two of this review with more can crushers. Thanks for the videos! Keep Making Them!

First one looks like it was installed wrong. The part that split should of been turned 180 degrees

The McKay one breaks after about 500 cans... Waste of money.

Sorry, but the McKay handle will loose the screws as they loosen. Then the rod in the handle will strip since the rod isn't hard steel. The side braces will bend. Then the top plate, with a hole in it, will deform. I guess I over used it. P.S. when you put two crushed cans together you can crush them to a smaller size. :)

You should refeed the crushed ones back in to actually get them crushed all the way. Third one design is greatly improved by adding another foot on the handle a 2in metal block on the top -- to really crank on them. 75% improvement in crushing ability.

It looks like you installed the crushing part upside down on the first one. It looks like it should be flat side down

For the current circumstances, my 8,5 size shoe is the best can crusher for me! Why? Cuz I don’t have a can crusher yet, yes I’ll need good quality one. Thanks for the video

The black one broke of course. The green one with the lock was to exhausting to use. The red one is the BEST one! I still have it and use it till this day!

It seems like the third one is much better than the others......however I thought it should crush the cans smaller....

The circle or opening on the third one is to let air escape from the can. Makes is easier. My shoes work better than the second one.

Where can I get the last can crusher I like that one the red one I have an idea how to build a stand for this one since I'm in the apartment life since I got a little bit of a bigger apartment I can do my cans now but I have to run some out so I don't have a party with the bugs can I get this on eBay or is there any hardware store that I can get this exact same can crusher I'm not worried about 5. I don't know where to cash in the bottles then cuz it's kind of hard to recycle bottles he has to take him to recycle bin storage that people has to do and well I just want to use it for my can cash in a little extra money and go from there I'm in the apartment life I'm on the southside of Indianapolis Indiana a boring country nothing really happens for me here no Miracles or anything so yeah and I don't like cold weather

The first one. you tested it set up wrong. That is why it failed. that is not the product fault . It is the installers fault. The handle is installed backwards, Ridge part is suppose to be towards you when handle it straight up. Just look at the Amazon listing. And that is why it broke. You need to test that again.

@@GadgetSal You should redo it. or add a disclaimer . Stating That is was put together wrong because of the fault of the instructions. So, other don't get misleading info from your video. Thinking the product does not work.

I would not buy any of these to crush simple aluminuim soda cans, which I can easily crush with my bare hands. I would like to see can crushers for tin cans or steel cans, as in soup cans and larger, made with heavier metal. At the moment, after I empty out the contents, I cut out the bottoms with a can opener, and then crush the cans flat with my hands and maybe a pair of pliers to get it even slimmer.

If you sale your can to scrap yards, DO NOT Crush your aluminum Can. It makes our Job much harder, and for God’s Sake, no trash, Glass, or food cans. It is very hard to crush bails of can when the van is crushed. The bails fall apart. Trash can make us sick, glass can hurt us, and food can is tin not aluminum and therefore is scrap metal.
