See I started in Outbound and transfered to Inbound. I was trained in tranship and then got put In decant. I now transferred to a delivery station where I stow and pack the bags in carts for delivery.

I transfer in receiving vendor I have no ideal what it going to be or should I stay in pack

@@ChimcHoodoLoo Man I’m working Transship and at first we were hitting numbers of 8k-18k, now as of this year (our peak numbers were 28-30k and that was high for us at the time) now I’m seeing 30K+ and I’m absolutely burnt out and frustrated because our transship area is so small and we have roughly as of to date 20 sorts, Amazon right now pays better than surrounding jobs, which area in Amazon isn’t too demanding physically and mentally? At least just a notch down from transship? I’m thinking of doing Picking or receiving

What kind of station do you work at? I thought I'd go for pack and it's all heavy items. I pulled my upper back muscles in the first week so now I'm trying for vendor recieve.

Oh yeah it is I did ship dock wasn't a big fan of it. I think you would like it better maybe.

Yeah this particular position is easy you don't really move much like you said. It's very chill you don't really get bothered you just do your own thing. There will be days where you're just sitting there waiting for work to come down, because the stowers sometimes don't get carts down fast enough for the time we get it all done.

@@ChimcHoodoLoo Ah, good to know. Maybe one day I'll be trained in it since Amazon okie doked us. Apparently we signed up for our positions, but what's good for the warehouse is us being technical loaders and unloaders. Sigh.

The toughest part of the job is. The long hours, then not having enough work. Also the strictness at times. Most of the people are super cool tho. Also the mandatory overtime days. They suck because they add a extra day to you schedule and you have to work it.

@@ChimcHoodoLoo I always accept the VET (Voluntary Extra Time) shifts when they come. Extra money comes in handy.

Oh dang that's crazy. I'll admit we have are busy days especially around peak, but this video was at the end of the work day there wasn't much work. I no what you mean when it gets super busy. I can't imagine all that work you do. I hope they pay more.

No it's a Amazon building pretty decent size. It's called Amazon fulfillment center.

@@ChimcHoodoLoo until they find out who it is from work and terminate you. No hate just a warning been working at amazon for 3 years and its a strict policy of no pic of videotaping allowed non the less no phones. Before covid they would have to write your make and models of your phone and other stuff from your phone to make sure you weren't doing any of that and if you were it was termination unless it was an accident bringing in your phone. Now its you can have your phone but only due to emergencies

So this is inbound so you typically go at a speed that's is suitable for you. Technically we're supposed to be scanning at least 3 items per minute tho.

Have to generally do over 20 boxes an hour to stay in the Amazon flow rate. Its fast work, take box, scan it, dump it into tote, and put tote onto tote line; next box, and repeat for 10 hours each day.

@@dbbuster1238 yeah it's pretty easy this is my favorite position. There are slow days, but for the most part yeah it's pretty easy to make rate.
