Very informative... What about the puffers refered to as "Pea Puffers" ? I would like to set up a 20 tall heavily planted tank for them. Any advice you can offer would be appreciated. Thanks.

pea puffers are from Asia, but otherwise the same. I think it's a good idea to breed some smaller snails for them, but they are quite easy to keep. I would get a larger aquarium, and get more of them, make sure you have some other fish also. Maybe 8 in 40 gallons with 20 barbs or something like that.

yes, but if you offer to sell those to your local shops you can likely buy 1kg of food shrimp with every handful you sell

@@belowwater thank you a lot for your answer, i appreciate it. sadly nobody is buying here, i tried multiple times. they all have their supply lines set up and dont want subpar colors. the really nice ones i always keep :-) also thank you for all your great videos, i binge watched half your library yesterday and they are amazing ressources!

Some of the most dangerous countries on the continent , some in the world. Getting fish out of Congo is getting harder and harder according wholesalers

I have only photos, but no video, the visibility in the Niger and Congo is very low. Otherwise no problem - one has to be lucky to find puffers in nature, and then getting them in clear water in those big rivers is very unlikely.
