The Statue of Dr.Jack de Sequeira was missing in south Goa but a social activist like Anthony de Silva worked hard with the people of Ambelim. The local MLA Cruz Silva, Sarpanch Alexander de Silva, Zilla member and others deserve our claps for installing a Statue of the Father of the Opinion Poll-1967. The Goa Legislative Assembly had already passed the Assembly resolution in the year 1998 for a life size statue of Dotor Siker but till date the resolution have not been implemented by the Authorities but I hope the Statue of Dotor will be installed in the secretariat complex at Porvorim asap. Kudos to the singer Jennifer Fernando for the mind blowing song.

Long awaited move. Thanks Anthony and other activists who made this possible. Dr. Jack is a Goan icon who can never be forgotten. May his soul Rest In Peace. Goans need to wake up and think about a second opinion poll.
