She said that persephone didn't start drinking and self medicating until the london production. Probably that's why she didn't growl as much here

I love that I can find this version without her using the beautiful gravelly voice she is so good at, just so I feel it's okay to sing it without that

Why did they get rid of nabiyah be for Hadestown? She use to play Eurydice

Rainbow Dash They made the decision to cast Eurydice in a higher vocal range, to enhance the contrast against the lower ranged Persephone and Hades.
