But the conservatives think if I say I'm communist that I'm a promiscuous degenerate (but if I don't say it they think I'm part of them). I don't care at this point who thinks what about me and who thinks I belong where: everybody is brainwashed, uneducated, they mythologize every movement or system out there without actually studying about them and I couldn't care less what people believe about me.

@@dot0422 Trump's stance on abortion is to leave it to the voters of each state to decide. He has been very clear about some late term and after birth killing of babies. But other than that, he has been clear about states decision for voters to decide. Some people live a certain way when they are young and grow out of it. Maybe that is what has happened to Amber! Anyone can change for the better as they consume knowledge and learn the truth.

Same here. Reminds me of my late great grandpa who fought in the Korean War. He had amazing stories about his childhood in Germany, and going back just to revisit his family after the Berlin Wall fell. He was an amazing guy, as long as you didn’t ask him how he felt about Koreans 😭😭 Same with an old Nigerian paraplegic guy I used to be an HCA for. He was a beautiful singer but he did not like Mexican people very much loll…. There’s good and bad in everyone, especially boomers. Trump 2024. I am a Republican. This is my political stance. I am conservative. This guides the choices I make in my daily my life. I am a Christian. This is where my faith is found in my Savior Jesus Christ. It is the Republican Convention. There is no criteria set that every Republican also be conservative and/or Christian. My faith guides all areas of my life, but I cannot require that of all of my fellow Republicans. We share the same political ideology. It would be wrong for me to judge their lives based on the choices I’ve made for my life based solely on belonging to the same political party.

Hopefully some people will have a light bulb turn on in their head and realize just how hateful every little issue has become. And maybe people will start to see how good we actually have it and start helping others to realize it too. Then we could get the world or at least our country back on track. I think that is the first thing that needs to happen. These politicians we have rather act like middle school teenagers than actual representatives for us and our country. The smearing, name-calling, and lack of actually knowing how to debate has gotten so out of control that I wonder if they can ever learn how to act like an adult.

I loved when they turned it back to the states. That means not every state I’m going to agree with. I can compare it to me. I was wholly against marry Jane smoking. That was until I heard Rob Gronkowski talk about his experience with how much CBD and other byproducts of it helped him. It’s not like I took his word as gospel but it opened me up to looking into it further. That’s what she was there to do. It’s not like she has to be the perfect conservative from day one. And honestly we should be holding her up not tearing her down. It takes a lot of bravery to admit she was wrong on the stage she did.

As someone who worked in corporate America for 13 years you are told that you are a representative of your company regardless if you’re on the clock or not. And this was about 5 years ago before Covid and everyone being on social media. It’s what a company expects from their employees. Maybe this will teach him to think before he speaks. Not everything is appropriate to say out loud on a streaming platform, especially on what he said. It’s so difficult because we are in a culture where there is a large lack of ownership and responsibility when it comes to thoughts and actions. You are always responsible for the things you say, they have repercussions whether you intend them to or not. You can also evolve away from your previous thoughts and actions and you should have privacy and room for fault. More people need to be more responsible, but it is also an over step to get people fired for lack of foresight for the same reasons as the original incident (there are repercussions). So how can you incite more responsibility of thought and actions?

You do not have to be a Christian to be a Conservative. You do not have to be a Conservative to be a Republican. You do not have to be a Republican to be a Christian. YES. Ideally, we should all be all three, but that does not mean we should look down on individuals who are do not meet this "Purity Test". Too many people online are drawing the line where a person "Should be". Instead of accepting them for what they are. It is impossible to agree on everything. So, let's embrace what we do share and let the rest fall in its place.

About Amber Rose I have to say that if there were people calling themselves Christians and judging her for what ever she has had going on in her life previously (or even now) then they can't call themselves real Christians. Christianity is about grace and forgiveness and Jesus himself said: "The one who is fully sinless may be the one to through the first stone.." (Which no-one ofcourse is..) Muslims stone people, Christians do not.

I rarely disagree with you, but I disagree with you here. Destiny isn’t being deplatformed, he can still speak. He is not entitled to have someone pay him for such content, especially if these words will lose advertisers. Many advertisers don’t want to have to deal with constantly resetting their ads every time some jackoff says something dumb. They will just quit advertising. He is essentially an employee if he is being paid. If an employee goes around driving out business why should they keep getting paid? I think this is exactly the appropriate response by X. Banning people is not.

However, when you say those things you are condoning murder. We are all adults and we all understand that there are consequences for our actions. If people are losing their jobs, I believe there should’ve been a considerable amount of more thought behind the statements they chose to make public. Though I do agree, we should not as a society push for someone to lose their job over what they have said. But again, if the consequence to your action is that your company cannot be associated with you that is their right.

There is a story of another woman who had led somewhat of a questionable life up to that point. In John 4, she met Jesus, the One who is Himself The Truth, at a well. She was so convinced he was who he said he was that she had to go tell everybody about it. Her whole town came to Christ because of 1) her sharing what she had experienced and 2) them all coming to find out for themselves. The account ends with the townspeaople telling the woman, "It is no longer" (but totally was, at first) "because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves and know...."

I agree that the Republican Party needs to continue to focus on outreach and bring more into the party. The Republican Party principles are good principles and helps all people. That said, the Democrats played a dangerous game of building coalitions and have been taken over by socialists and “regressives”. There was a time when the Democrat party was reasonable. Now they are insane. Republicans need to welcome all, but hold tight to Republican principles.

I have to say, I'd never heard of Matt Walsh before. I saw his comment about Amber and assumed he was just another leftist. I just looked him up and he's supposedly right wing, but he's no actually different than the far left. And yes, I love that Amber Rose spoke at the RNC (I had no idea who she is either - had to look her up too). I can't imagine that happening back in the day, even though throughout my lifetime, Republicans as a group have always been more tolerant and open-minded than their opponents. But this raised things to a new level and makes me happy! And, no I don't think Republicans are fighting at all. There are a teeny-tiny number of annoying people trying to get some attention. No real Republican objects.

We’ve known Jack Black was not fond of Trump. He’s endorsed Biden. I’ve separated art from artist with him for a while, he wasn’t super obnoxious about his politics and he was just goofy and entertaining on his social media for the most part. Hearing his bandmate Kyle sing about wanting the shooter to not have missed and Jack Black allowing him to and the dancing along with him, makes me so sad…

I’m with Amber! I too was like her and came around. I hate that people don’t see that as a true Republican It is best to let people in and be kind to people who have figured it out as we have matured. I loved her speech. It resonated with me because people do change. Good for her and good for you guys for calling this out!
