I don't know too much about politics, but what I do know is that when Donald Trump was president I was making $17 an hour with a newborn and a stay at home wife and I wasn't struggling. I am making $27 now and my wife is working making the same and we lost it all now living with my in-laws trying to get back on our feets. I just can’t imagine that.. here in Germany it’s a little more stable. Before Covid I was making around 20€ an hour and I felt like I’m very good situated. Now I make 25€ an hour and it’s just NOT enough to pay rent, utilities, insurances etc… I sold my car because even Repair and maintenance just skyrocketed.. I feel like the western politics (USA, Canada, Europe) just let us feel like we are living the life for couple of years and then stabbed us in the back. I have no motivation to start anything anymore, I only see dark times ahead.. and I’m usually a total optimist.
