That ring and color are perfect on you, Amber! I think the wider band is not as becoming on your finger as the more slender band that you purchased. Love your red outfit snd Chanel brooch and a small pair of stud earrings would complete your look!!!

Congratulations, the ring is beautiful!! And this is really helpful information for me, personally!! I don't have an engagement ring, just a solid white gold wedding band, so my husband and I have been saving up to eventually buy me an "engagement" ring (we've been married 5 years now LOL). A little while ago, I told him that I also wanted to get a Cartier Love band as part of my future wedding set. I have always just looked at the plain bands, but I LOVE the idea of getting the one with the diamond in it!! Especially since mine would also be white gold and knowing it's shinier than the plain band. That seems so odd, but very good to know! The reason the pieces with diamonds appear brighter is because the gold is rhodium plated and without diamonds they are not rhodium plated. Beautiful first Cartier piece, you’ll be hooked now! Congratulations!

Hi Amber. I bought my first Cartier pieces last year for my birthday. I opted for the small size Juste Un Clou bracelet with diamonds because the closure on the larger one is tricky. The small size is so much easier to put on and take off. I also bought the Love ring (middle size width) without diamonds and haven't stopped wearing it. I wanted a plain wide-ish band and this was perfect. Both in yellow gold as that matches my wedding set. Love that ring and you'll find you'll wear yours all the time. Your one with the single diamond is a great piece 👍

I think the WG ones with diamonds are rhodium plated which makes it brighter and the shine last longer. Fun piece! 💙

So beautiful! Please be careful as 18K is very soft compared to 10K or 14K gold. I had an 18K Tacori white gold wedding set that we purchased in store and after a few years of regular wear it wore down and thinned and eventually split. I did my regular cleanings and inspections but unfortunately it’s just a softer metal. If I had done my research I would have opted for platinum. I ended up having my diamond set in a 14K white gold setting (not Tacori) and haven’t had any issues. Seriously not trying to be negative Nancy I just wish someone would have told me and I had to share. Congratulations and thanks for sharing! ❤

18K is softer but the Love ring is a very thick band so it won't be an issue as far as breakage. A thinner band would be different. All gold will scratch though so a good polishing cloth will help with that. My bracelet is 5 years old and despite the scratches it looks great and sparkles beautifully. I'll never regret purchasing anything from Cartier.

Great choice for your first piece. Did you try on the small love bracelet? It's thinner and you screw it on on one side with a hinge. Much more comfortable than the larger love bracelet. Easier to take off and one by yourself.

I wear a smart watch to bed and it doesn't bother me so my Love bracelet is fine too. When I do take it off I can take it off and put in on by myself but I don't need to do that very often. I have the yellow gold Love ring paired with a diamond eternity band. I want to get the white gold with diamond wedding band like yours to pair with them. Enjoy your new piece. Cartier is addictive.

Congrats on your first piece. The cleaning kit is nice to have which i have mine too. But i was told that nowadays Cartier do not give the customer anymore cleaning kit. Yours perhaps probably they still have stock. Just fyi. Yes the Love bracelet one has to help you to put on and remove. Having said that, they have the Love craft which one can just remove easily, and the bracelet is just a craft (if you know what i mean). Wearing Love bracelet and going thru Custom airport security can be troublesome at times. Some may need you to remove it when you are at the security check point, and some may not. Depends. Some KZfaqr have shared that and you have to bring along the screw if you want to wear that. It is troublesome for some. JUC is much more manageable in my opinion.
