We take a ride every Sunday to see a horse named Sassy that we feed carrots and some apples, and she along with my wife and I have fallen in love with one another.. she gives us kisses and stomps her foot telling us hurry up with those carrots!! Thank you Amber for showing us how beautiful these animals are and so special to be around..

Good luck with your little Finch! I'm not sure if this would help or you've already tried it, but I have a mare that I ponied off of a very confident trail horse for about a year and a half before I sat on her. When I finally did get on her, she rode like she was completely broke. I think I got very lucky with her temperament, but I also feel like it is much less overwhelming for them to learn from another horse. Sometimes is a good stepping stone before training. I love heartland and I appreciate what a gentle rider you are! Thank you, for all you do for our furry friends! ❤

Aw what a great update! Its so interesting how different horses can be - my two grew up together in the same pasture, born just a day apart, and are so closely bonded... but SO different in personality! Its adorable!

Love watching your Ramblin’ Rides and I LOVE that you did end up keeping Autumn - she looks like the sweetest pup who will, no doubt, have the best life.

You have a great rider there starting your young rescue horses. With Finch - it's genetic. With those horses, one bad experience and they never forget it - while Ranger has the genetics to not let things bother him. Hopefully, with a lot of time and confidence building training - Finch will make a suitable horse for the right confident person. Amber you are so real, love you for that part of your life. Say hi to that Tomcat you were sporting on Halloween. Love you guys. Love you sharing about animals and especially, Ranger, good placement. Finch I really like from the beginning his look is fabulous and the mane and his color. I fell in love with this 3 year old. Time flies Ranger doesn't seem he could be 2 1/2 years old. Finch will come around with discipline and love of the herd. Autumn, I knew you couldn't foster her, I would took the sisters in that situation. I am little old to even think about rescues 76. Locally well, like most places bunches of critters, so sad. I wish I could have the rescues fixed. I know people wasn't aware as much about pet treatment years ago. Well, say sensitive to situation. Cat and dogs just did their thing. It was nature and natural to most rural areas. Education and sight being seen how animals are treated does help. Amber, you do a good job and I need to be bettér in my area. I can't believe I just said that I was afraid of dogs and cats until I was up in size. Some bad experiences didn't help.
