Located just 50 km from Mumbai, Ambernath Shiv Mandir is one of the cultural heritage sites ranked by UNESCO in the state of Maharashtra, India. We stay hardly 30 minutes away from the 1000 years old Shiv temple in Ambernath. This ancient Shiva Temple in Ambernath is quite rich in history.
This beautiful temple is situated just 2 km away from the Ambernath Railway station and is easily accessible. On a personal note, I am visiting this temple after almost a decade, but the energy and aura have not changed a bit here.
Shiv temple in Ambernath is styled in Hemadpanti architecture, even after 1000 years the temple pillars and designs are intact, strong, and clearly visible. Every pillar has a story and is beautifully carved in stone. In this video, I have helped you with the best way to reach Ambernath Shiv Devasthan. Please explain how to reach Ambernath from Goregaon east

There are many ways: Travel on a local train - Goregaon to Dadar, and catch another train from Dadar to Ambernath. Badlapur / Karjat / Khopoli trains stop at Ambernath station. Else, you can travel by metro, from goregaon to andheri, and take another metro from andheri to ghatkopar, and from ghatkopar catch any badlapur / Karjat / Khopoli train. Another way is to catch an auto/bus and reach Borivali. You will find multiple buses for Thane from Borivali, catch a bus and reach Thane and catch a train from there and reach ambernath. Hope this helps.

@@yashikamodi-yb4hu I know there are few Mahadev Temples where you can find the sea behind the statue. Like Murudeshwar, Azhimala, Trimbakeshwar, Omkareshwar. Not able to recollect any old temple with the features that you have said.
