Today since I am almost 30, we are going on an old lady inspired shopping spree to decorate my new house! I am turning my modern pad into an old school French castle, and that means antiques and flea market hunts to find treasure!
So here is me decorating my new house like an old castle...I love it.

I've never related to you more! I'm 32 going on 95 because I just want to spend all my free time going to thrift stores and seeing cool antique stuff. I feel like stuff from the past has so much character and is made with love and made to last. Everything nowadays is throw away.

About the curtain tassels: you could switch them for the holidays: I always like to put tinsel around my curtains for Christmas, and it really brightens up the place. You could try the same with your extra vintage tassels. And by the way, I LOVE your channel. It is really inspiring.

This girl has so much self confidence. Plus she is beautiful and I pray she keeps making videos to inspire us . Because of this inspirational young lady I started doing things by myself and I am a happier person now. Her mom and dad have to be proud of her. No one has even came close to this childs energy.

For the ballroom frames, seeing your chairs with the flowers immediately made me think of those paintings where its the lady's with their umbrellas standing in a meadow of flowers. I think those would match the room pretty well

Loving you & your video. I am the lover of old lady things in my group. I call my style granny chic. I collect perfumes, too…I keep them on a gold art deco mirror. I have so much vintage decor, clothing & jewelry. My favorite piece is an antique 1920’s hand carved mirrored armoire. I keep all my dresses in it.

To be honest amber brings out a side of me that I’ve never seen before when I’m watching her it feels like we are connected in so many ways. To be having a connection that deep without actually meeting the person in real life is huge!

OMG AMBER!! use the fireplace base as a base piece for a big corner body mirror! You could drape some curtains over the top of the mirror to natch the house and frame around the mirror with tall vases of the roses!! ❤❤❤

For the pictures frames in the ballroom, it’d be really cool to commission some art by a local artist! I imagine having a musician in one and a dancer in the other, but you could do anything, and have a little piece of your own creativity on the wall! You’re also the DIY queen so I’m sure you could do your own art :)

No I totally get the old lady aesthetic, I lived in a flat for a few months as a 3 year old and our neighbour was a little old lady. Everything was so flowery and she had so many antiques I just loved being in her house. When it was my birthday she gave me a box of chocolates and when we moved she gave me this tiny glass bowl with a bronze flowery lid and it was filled with tiny flowers 🥰🥰🥰 I’ve still got it and I’m 19 now!

Just an idea for the fireplace thing - you could match it with a mirror as a base, like for a full body standing mirror (since there are never enough mirrors :D) And I imagine it would be a gorgeous and unique piece in your collection

I love this very much! I changed completely donated all of my things like this and moved on to white and blue stripes and white EVERYTHING like a beach resort! But I do still love this amazing decor! Fun to watch!
