I'm a certified eyelash technician & Esthetician, the technique that you're using right now is called "tabbing" you don't have to be a certified anything to do this, but in the aesthetics world that's what it's called. It's basically just doing individual clusters of lashes, and the adhesive that you use ( the one in this video specifically ) is one that allows the lashes to be considered "semi permanent" because the adhesive lasts for about three days before you need to do touchups. Doing eyelash tabs is definitely a great way to not worry about putting on mascara if you have an event coming up on a weekend or something! One thing to keep in mind, to anyone reading this comment; make sure the adhesive/glue that you're using is safe for the eyes! I've had clients do this technique before and have come in for me to put real extensions on them & from being unsafe with glues , they've damaged their natural eyelashes tremendously because they didn't care and just used random ones they had lying around (an example would be weave glue...yes I am serious haha)

I've tried using regular falsies several times & I just can't master getting the whole band on my small eyes. Your natural lashes will grow out in two weeks time. So when you have the same false lashes glueing multiple of your natural lashes togethe, your naturals lashes will pull on eachother in different directions as they grow out. You might not notice the damage you are doing to your lashes at first but over a length of time your lashes will get more and more sparse. When you get professional lash extensions they apply one individual extension to one individual lash to prevent this damage which is why they are more expensive.

The only thing I ever can look at is the lines that aren't blended on her brows.

its just not necessary to use mink eyelashes. theres so many synthetic lashes that are better than a minks hair. no need to have animals tortured so you can have pretty eyelashes. other than that i really like the tutorial

I just wanted to tell you something not being rude or saying not to do what your doing but because it's a few lashes stuck on top of a lot of your real eye lashes you can actually rip them out as they grow because you lose at least 5 a day. As an eyelash extensions stylist this method is the worst and damaging! Applying these individuals lashes with said adhesive along your lash line is detrimental to the integrity of your natural lash. Not a single hair on your body is growing at the same rate as the other. Applying these clusters glues multiple lashes together. When this happens they start a sort of tug of war. This leads to premature shedding of your natural lash. Also, if by some miracle you managed to isolate one lash and apply the cluster lash....that is way too heavy for a natural lash to hold up. It will cause your lash distress, it will weaken and shed prematurely. If this trauma is repeated it can eventually lead to a collapsed follicle and you will no longer have a lash growing there. Not everyone can afford professional lash extensions but I strongly encourage them or at the very least lash strips. Or even possibly use the adhesive for strips that last only one day. That ardell adhesive is the worst.

You can also use clear/blonde weave glue for diy lash extensions i use the black glue but for easier application u can use the clear it stays soft on lashes and does not get that crunchy feeling like the ardell glue does in the kit , to remove just soak a cotton ball in babyoil and they easily slide off . Sometimes i even do entire lash strips at one time using the weave glue lasts for 2 weeks or so .

Hey amber, just wanted to reach out as a fan. As you are a vegetarian I think it's important to know mink lashes are not cruelty free. Sadly, most mink's suffer on the farms where they are "safely" harvested for "gentle fur clips" but usually die from starvation and later have their fur sold for coats. I love your videos and you too! You're such a great person, hopefully you have long since switched your views but if not just consider that. Thanks for your time.
