When the embers caught the grass alight at a friends barbecue and the fire was spreading, my boyfriend and I took our Levi's off and used them to beat the flames out. After a few washes, the scorched areas frayed and our jeans look awesome. You can imagine the fun we have when people ask us how we distressed our jeans. Quite a few people don't even believe us when we tell them. LOL (Jane).

I actually have a pretty good tip on separating the blue strings from the white. I took a fork and basically did scratching motions to distress it and it was honestly faster and easier! Just a little tip but I love how amber's came shes honestly a genius in diys!
