Was at this race. Followed it up by going to Pocono next weekend. Saw Kurts last race and his wreck on Saturday that ended his career. Surreal to think about, Miss you Kurt.

When you realize that THIS is Kurt's last NASCAR race.....

As of August 2023 we can officially call this Kurt Busch's final NASCAR race. And a fitting last race too, giving his race team a good consistent Top 10 run, which he did so well for 19 of his 22 cup seasons.

It's a miracle! Ross Chastain hasn't wrecked anyone in this race. I would like him more if he stopped doing that.

Man, I barely know the field anymore. Add to that, sequential shifting, IRS, fuel injection (yea, I know that's been forever now), single lug nuts, and on and on...smh Sure, I suppose NASCAR has to change with the times as my generation, who enjoyed the sport in its more pure form, die off. But I know plenty of younger guys who also prefer watching 'vintage races' over the homogenized version NASCAR is serving up nowadays. On a positive note, I think Dale Jr. is doing a great job in the booth. Watching his podcasts is the only reason this re-run appeared in my KZfaq feed.

I'd think, considering how much the cars rumble through your body when you're actually there, that a high end sound system that can shake the house would simulate that at home to a degree. Sadly, there is no low end coming through the feed on the track. Plenty of it in the transition music though. Makes the "crank it up" segments pointless and silly. It's like if my zero turn mower could go 180mph.

These cars had trouble on this track

...and pardon me for saying, but Jessi Punch has alot riding on her family name (Dr. Jerry). She has a long way to go and with some 'things' that need adjustment to become good pit-reporter that people can actually stand to listen to. More 'glammy' than informed, I'm a little worried about being more of a poser than a 'knower'. Now take Kim Coon (formerly from MRN and NASCAR), another pretty face, except she has been around the sport since 2011. She really has a good history of involvement in our sport, and she knows her stuff, and the people in the business. Jessi Punch should take lessons from her. I'll keep checking on her progress, but for now sometimes the mute button or fast forward will work for me...-theautojunkie-

who is that whinny vcr+ voiced girl? the volume for her is at least twice as loud as actual race commentary.

I'm the only person in the world of nascar that hates these new cars. I like some things about them, like being able to hit the wall and keep going but for the most part, this cookie-cutter mentality has taken too much out of the driver and crew chief's hands. I miss the old school cars... and I hate how they have bowed down to the sponsors by moving the side numbers up behind the front wheels.... it looks out of place and stupid. Okay, rant over. Go Kyle Larson!!

Denny Hamlin needs to retire from JGR and become a driver/ owner. He shouldn't be allowed to own a team and drive for a pay check with another team.

NBC, please take Jesse Punch off the air. That has got to be the most annoying voice to ever be broadcast. I don't care who her dad is, she has got to go.

My God, the commentary was 100% better without that awful Rick guy. I actually WANTED to watch the whole broadcast all the way through. With him there, to me, he spoils the race completely with his inane comments and his repeating of what Dale, Jeff and Steve have already said.
