One of the comments I get a lot is people wishing my films were slower and that the individual storm clips would last longer, so they can really enjoy them. For awhile now I've had the idea to do a long video at a slower pace, with calming music that can be put on in the background while your work, have a party (with your own music) or other situations.
Enter Ambient Storms. Throw this on your Smart TV, enjoy the calm and beauty of thunderstorms and sunsets. Fall asleep to it, put up on your 4K for a cool video during a gathering of friends, or put it on repeat in your office during the day.
I may even make a longer one down the road, even slower, lasting hours.

WOW! It's both fascinating and relaxing. Watching the storms in time lapse gives a different perspective on the storms. And with the music all my troubles just seem to float away! (No pun intended!) Another great video Mike. You should get an award for this.

Fantastic Zen time lapse footage…hypnotic at times, I didn’t want to blink! Great work as usual Mike…you never cease to amaze me! Highly recommended to watch this entire hour of peaceful nature! Amazing what a difference the music makes…with an accompaniment of dramatic or cinematic music, it would have been a whole different listening experience!

Mike, thanks to your creativity, many people who are physically unable to access these views are expanding their world. The previous videos were perfect, and this one is even more perfect. Are the colors natural or enhanced? The next step is to move into the 3rd dimension, filming from a drone, but how to ensure that it does not get blown away or sucked in by lightning?

I use a 135mm for now, but with the R5 I've added the 100-500mm. All Canon of course.
