Ambient with the LYRA-8 delay

Here I tried to create sounds of the # LYRA-8 partly only with the delay. And that worked really well. If you slowly set the feedback to 100 percent, the delay begins to oscillate in an infinite feedback loop.
By changing the time parameters, you create sonic artifacts which then cause unexpected results in the feedback loop.
This is only part of the whole session. You have to take your time and try all sorts of things. As always with the LYRA-8, it is sometimes difficult to reproduce sounds.
Reverb and shimmer coming from the Mod Duo X from Mod Devices.
3:30 Bringing in oscillators 1 - 4

That synth should be called Lyra 2048. in reference to Blade Runner. I love that movie, and this instrument transpires it so much.

Just bought a 2nd hand Lyra-8 (not delivered yet?) Watching loads of channels that are using and demonstrating the Lyra. You create an amazing soundscape here very much in the Hildur Guðnadóttir Chernobyl soundtrack style and that is awesome.

I advise against putting coins on the Lyra sensors. High conductivity leads to current spikes eroding inner circuits of the Lyra.

its like the lyra always is on movie soundtrack mode haha, sounds great though, but a bit of a one trick pony perhaps (or you need to really put a lot of effort in). Only thing I don't understand, shouldnt you hear way more since the left hold knob is at max?

You're a little right about the one trick pony and the soundtrack mode. But it really depends on what you do with the Lyra. You can use it to create the most interesting and weird sounds. Everything goes from very gentle and melodic to brutal and painful. I don't really know anything like it. If I could only take one synthesizer to a lonely island, it would probably be the Lyra.
