I was treated as a child in the 70’s, had the eye patch and had to wear glasses also. This was after I constantly fell down stairs or walked into door frames. So my eyes improved at some point, the patch was removed and glasses were no longer, until I was a teen. In my 30’s, I was diagnosed again with amblyopia. I realized that I couldn’t see some things, and couldn’t find anything I was looking for. So I quit driving. Now I always wear a bruise or swelling from impacting something from not seeing it. Everyone know me as being clumsy.

As another person with amblyopia, when it's dark, I see colored dots or when I look at light and look away the shadows still stay on my eye.

Only through childhood while watching TV and eating in the living room, the dining room and kitchen I would go for the Salt, but I’ll grab the milk my mistake and pour right into my food constantly when I was little 😂

I don't understand much of this. Just doing research to see if this can be fixed without surgery. I don't know if my vision is worse now or not as I only got my first pair of glasses at 23. What I can say I've observed from a few pictures I have. Initially, there seemed to be something not quite right if you looked at my eyes as a kid. As time went on into my my early to late teens, it started to become more apparent that the pupil of the left eye is not quite centered. Now however it has straight deviated to the left. The only advantage really, is that my left peripheral is about 30 percent better than my right. That being said. Would you guess that this is lazy eye?
