This song was released as a single during the Summer of 1980. I first heard it on a syndicated music show called "Star Charts". It was so great that viewers contacted the show and requested to see/hear it again. My feelings exactly. It's now nearing the Summer of 2023, and the song still has the same romantic impacted that it first had over 43 years ago. It's a TIMELESS CLASSIC! Thank you, David Pack, for writing and singing this song!

OH HOW I Miss those good old days . We use to have House Parties and no one stoled nothing . No one at the party that you did not trust . If someone drank to much they just slept over . NO DRAMA BACK THEN . People just enjoying each other's company . Every one just had a great time back then . You could actually go for a joy ride and you didn't have to worry about road rage . No sad madness back then that's among us today . OH HOW I TRULY DO MISS THOSE GOOD OLD DAYS

I know...I was 11 in 1976, when America's head started turning toward fear...I remember the world before the notorious serial killer Ted Bundy changed everything... of course, he did get a head start because of the Manson murders of 1969...BUT IT WAS AN ALTOGETHER DIFFERENT WORLD IN THE MID 70S...Today's world is defined only by increasing fear and distrust, a far cry from the beautiful year of 1980 when "You're the ONLY woman that I'M DREAMING OF" was released. Don't take this the wrong way but I'm as serious as the next planned red flag attack that is bound to hit sooner or later, I wish an asteroid would strike this planet and wipe out about 4 billion so we could start over....this time, with most of this spineless yet strangely enraged generation gone...Just hit CIVILIZATION RESET and WE COULD START AGAIN IN A BRAVE NEW WORLD.... Don't get me wrong. I'm not a psychopath nor a sociopath. I have love in my heart for the human race. It's just that I am a lifelong student of human history and a WATCHER of the human condition and I have never witnessed so much fear and overall spinelesness. I personally have nothing but contempt for those who live in fear, seemingly getting off on a strangling fear. I'm basically fearless myself. I'm a part of the last generation who although computer literate (in fact it was my peer group that gave this spineless 21st century their all hallowed digital and redigitized world) LIVED THE LIFE OF A HUMAN BEING without being hypnotized by the virtual world of NON REALITY, KNOWING WHAT A TRULY VIBRANT AND SOUL ENRICHING CONVERSATION IN PERSON IS LIKE....HAVING NO ELECTRONIC DEVICE AS A BODILY APPENDAGE LIKE SOME GODDAMNED CYBORG. I'm fearless because I have stared death in the face so many different times that I could count its front row teeth. I don't give a fuck all for any of this fear MASQUERADING and parading before our eyes over WHAT IS QUITE POSSIBLY A FAKE pandemic...I would even suit up in a Biohazard level 4 isolation-hazmat suit and enter any isolation ward, Ebola included, and have faith when I walked out of present danger...faith that I would survive. If I died? Then it was meant to be, AND ON TO MY NEXT ADVENTURE... DO ANY OF YOU SO CALLED MILLENNIALS STAND WITH ME ON THIS OR ARE YOU GOING TO WITHER AWAY IN FEAR?

Same! I’d be singing, rockin to these songs that I’d heard on the radio a week earlier in the car - they’d just stay in my head. Decades later, I can go online and magically relive a piece of my childhood, feeling that same feeling - a kid on his bike at sunset, gliding along lighter than air, riding out the fading sunlight on a warm summer evening, singing along with the memory of this song in my head, just enjoying life.

@Caleigh Parker - Congratulations on discovering Ambrosia and the classic rock / country of the 1960s, 70s and 80s! A key difference for bands / artists during these three decades was that they usually had to cut their teeth performing live and gigging, before being scouted by record companies. No one-hit wonders from TV talent(less) shows. ;-)

forget your age, this is pure good music, that is why you like it and why the music from this era permeates the generations, it is quite simply well crafted soulful music that stands the test of time, todays music will be forgotten month to month as the latest greatest "hit" continues to shuffle in through the nonsense stream that is modern music...stick to the classics kids

The 70's kicked ass ! I don't care who didn't like them. The 80's weren't half bad either. It all started going downhill in the 90's, and look where we are now ? Locked down inside our homes and hoping we don't die. What a world. Now it sucks.

I was born in the early 70’s and have always loved music. I have always wanted to start a great music collection and I’m on a good path now. I had the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s influenced and so much great music was made in those decades. Different but still really good. There are times I knew the songs that but not the artist. Recently I found Ambrosia and Little River Band. They had music I loved growing up and now are in my personal collection. Sorry about my rant, just excited I found these gems.
