He's an ad guy so he's really used to squeezing great impact in a short amount of time. So every scene is chock-full of action. (Detrimental at times, like in 6 Underground, got me dizzy and sensory-overloaded)

@@mackblack5153 i disagree.. Tony's cinematography and the angles of the camera had some meaning. he didn't used that camera technique in all the shots of his movies. But this is too much.. even for some simple scene michael bay is using haywire camera movement.. this is too much.. this is unbalanced and without meaning.. it is also unpleasant for eyes of a viwer while watching the scenes

@@ShankhaNathjico I liked Scotts cinematography between...Beverly hills cop 2 and Enemy of the state or Spy game. Then,without often having much to do with the tone of the story,he wanted to play with the cool,young kids ten years too late and he just went ADHD,too many Quick cuts,too flimsy,too hyper,the cinematography became bland,looking like it was shot on video. It distracted,even from a solid story like Man on fire.

Absolutely. Give him a medium budget and a great cast and his movies are entertaining as hell and always great to look at. Pain and Gain and 13 Hours were great! I loved The Island and also his older films like Bad Boys and The Rock. He's a great filmmaker, people just love to hate on him. But he knows exactely what he's doing.
