I agree with Woody; what I love about Haymitch is that he may look like a grumpy old drunk, which he is, but there's so much more to him. He becomes affectionate of Katniss and Peeta and he's suffered terrible loss in the past.

this interviewer is annoying me bc she keeps call Woody's character 'Haimish' when in the book his name is written 'Haymitch' and they kept it that way for the film

So disappointing to see...not the movies; their portrayals are beautiful. But I find Effie one of the ABSOLUTE LEAST selfish people in the entire thing. She's never been remotely villainous. I love ya, Liz, but that characterization...just, no. By now it's definitely time to let go of that notion--that flippant dismissal of a fascinating and wonderful character. It's the casual, shallow, superficial, thoughtless, unfair reading of her. She's my favorite, and I can just go on and on about her for ages and ages. And geez, woman, it's "Haymitch," not Hamish! xp
