Bro i was going to buy the msi rtx 4060 45w laptop. But my dad says I should go for lenovo. I would like to buy the loq i5 12450hx/ 12450h with rtx 4050. Heard that new loq laptops are having motherboard and battery issues so should I consider buying it or skip it ?

The motherboard issue only happens on intel 13th gen, so AMD and intel 12th gen model will be fine, the battery issue only happen when you run background application

Brother, this problem is common in LOQ but the company are fixing these issues so you should not worry about it..... or better go for RYzen 5 7640HS + RTX 4050 instead of INtel one...
