This was the first time AMENRA played an early version of what was to become “De Doorn" - in Menen, West Flanders, Belgium - October 2019. That night we all gathered and burned all our unacknowledged loss accompanied by the music especially written for the occasion. A ritual by way of fire, revealing the 20 feet high bronze statue by sculptor Johan Tahon. It arose from the flames and ashes of what once was: glowing red, a new symbol of hope.

Lingua Ignota) Diaken The atmosphere this special occasion created was not of this world. This was truly a spiritual experience.! These guys saved my life when i was at my absolutely darkest and in total grief of my mother's loss...and i bet they will do so again some day. I just don't know how and where i would be today without their music and their art. For this i am forever grateful.! There are simply no words what this band means to me... Amicitia Fortior.!!🖤🖤

I was there. The fire was located between the band and the public. We all stood in a half circle maybe 50 or 60 metres away from the band. In that way it was difficult to feel the intensity of Amenra. But I am happy I can see it now on KZfaq.
