Күн бұрынUnboxing and assembling this grinder from Ameribrade! Our favorite 2x72 grinder in the game. This will be the 3rd grinder we have from them. Some of the reasons why we decided to go with these guys back in the day was the easy of assembly, outstanding customer service, and durability of the product. As a laminated steel manufacturer, we constantly push our machines to the limit 9 hours a day, 5 days a week.

A thing of beauty man. Picking one up next week. I could have gotten a cheaper version but I decided to save up for an Ameribrade. So many options/accessories for these you can’t go wrong.

Absolutely! Many custom knife makers do all their sharpening on one of these machines

In use, what is the major difference between 1.5hp and 3 hp? Seems like 1.5hp is more than adequate, but can you really bear down and slow the belt?

3hp has a lot more ass behind it. It'll take a lot more heaving grinding before boging down. Which is critical for us, but not so much for a typical Knifemaker who's doing more delicate grinding work .
