My mom died on November 29, 2016. A very godly woman. She saw Trump elected a few weeks before her death. Her little place she was at all cheered. Praised God! My mom wept and cried when she saw everything tyrant Obama did for 8 years. Before she died, she said America is going to be okay now. Trump has this because Jesus Christ is on the throne. My mom just knew!!!

When the Constitution and Declaration of Independence was written we had over 100 years of slavery. We had almost 100 years of more slavery after they were written. So, why would a room of 50 Christians not bother to abolish slavery and instead ignore crimes against humanity? If we were a strong Christians nation at that time, we were the most godly when America was the least humane . That means, the more secular we've become the more humane we've become. Why would we want to return to a time when human lives were expendable?

Could you please explain to me how forcing kids to read the Bible would fix social ills like teen pregnancy and violent crime? Looking at the data it seems the rates of both have actually declined dramatically in the last 20 years, but America has only become more secular. Me too, that is one regret I have was I never had seen him live in concert. Some of his songs were campy, but he made this one time neophyte Christian fired up for God. All the more reason to look forward to paradise above someday, but not yet.
