We went out to Stanford Senior Night to watch Stanford's cult hero Roy Yuan play his last ever college game. S/o to Roy, he really is one of the most humble hoopers and human beings we have met along this AMAZN HQ journey.

Roy is awesome, I wish he'd commit to KZfaq more because I find a lot of motivation in his work ethic. Specifically the video where he wakes up, practices basketball, does cs work, plays against bronny, interacts with fans, gets dinner with friends, and then studies til 3am blows my mind. Anytime I'm being lazy I just think about that video and I'll get up and do something. I understand it's just a side hobby for him though, but Roy, if you're seeing this, you're truly a special dude.

If a school drafts you to play for a basketball team. Does that mean you can choose to take any program that the school offers? Or do you have to be accepted into the program?
@Ivang017
@Ivang017 4 ай бұрын
I assume you mean in terms of Major Programs. You need to be accepted for the University/Program which they always stress players to have good GPA. OBVIOUSLY if you are Top Talent NBA potential then they automatically accept you. This is just an assumption but if you have bad grades. They probably encourage you to apply to a non-competitive program to get accepted to the University.

It is definitely weird but an Asian fan definitely gets a pass. He is clearly showing support. Nobody would think the Asian fan is racist. It isn't racist unless you try to make it a racist act. The rice paddy hat isn't something to be ashamed of too even though some may think of it being strictly worn by poor farm workers.

This is sad because at his level it boils down to talent. Despite him being an amazing hooper and great in academics...he's just not as natural gifted as most White\Black Americans because of genetics... Just keeping it real as a black man. Also on the real he needs to step out of his asian bubble and stop relying on them social support. If you want to hoop you have to make friends with black and whites...just to keep it real. It sucks but it's true. We all have our corners of expertise.
