That's why the apex teams had to go head to head. Because their teams are so far ahead of the others that it would have been them in the finals almost guranteed.

It all depends on their training and how they feel that day. Their have been plenty of good matches where both teams get points and those ones are very fun to watch.

@@j4genius961 I'm not even sure about Kyle being a match for the Apex guys anymore. His skill is close to theirs for sure but they seem to be in great form, while Kyle couldn't even save the match against Fata Morgana in this event (definitely a solid team but nowhere near Apex ETH IMHO).

@@strixcz I wasn't talking about Kyle's team rivaling Apex Eth, I was saying that it's the only team where each of Apex Eth's members wouldn't be the no 1 guy because of Kyle being the Mvp of WCT as of now imo but yeah, even Kyle is not that much better than each of them

@@j4genius961 I wasn't talking about HF as a team either. It is my impression that as of now, each individual member of Apex ETH has the ability to outplay Kyle. He did have one star season but he doesn't seem to improve as much as these guys - they're just insane.

they are so small that the gaps and low bars are easy for them to maneuver while others are more likely to get tangled up. They also both seem to understand the routes well enough to predict where anyone is headed from any obstacle and plan to cut them off instead of just chasing. And then they both have that afterburner level of speed even while getting around the obstacles.

Absolutely. Not even considering simple versions like team vs team tag fights, map changes (although this ‘map’ that is used rn is amazing), and small things like floor is lava modes; there’s so many ways for this to go. Even a foam board for the runners in the 1 v 1 chases would be a huge advantage and game changer- able to trip up chasers or quickly blind them or block a tag. Large scale hide&seek chase tag would be interesting to see, watching as they get closer and closer and seeing how confident hiders are in the fact they won’t be seen before they take off. I wonder if this could even mould with paintball or air soft in the future. Either way, I think this 1v1 chase tag will always be the quickest paced and will definitely consistently hold nostalgia in our hearts no matter where the sport goes.

(I’m a very idealistic man, I do realise the dangers with a lot of these and how they probably wouldn’t happen, but it’s nice to imagine what could happen if they did become a thing.)

It’s all thanks to the top tier coaches we all had growing up at Apex Movement.

Tough to say really. Apex would most likely top the group. The second group would probably be between PHAT and Blacklist. But Breach and HF are still really good teams. I think people would like to see a rematch between Marrero and UGEN.
