This was a one way Birthday trip for me going from Minneapolis to Bismarck connecting through Chicago. This Aircraft is the reason i did this trip. I wanted to ride the Super 80(MD-80) Mad Dog aircraft before it gets retired. I also have never flown to Bismarck from Chicago. I was suppose to go though Chicago from Bismarck back in 2012 but United terminated the route before my trip so i got rerouted through Denver. I enjoyed my flight and the pilot was funny because he was from Minnesota and a Vikings Fan and he made it known.
My Seat was 28F

I do apologizes for a weird stoppage gap at around 7:36 that last about 10 seconds it must have happen during the upload process because the original video does not have that problem. Once again I do apologizes for not noticing.

I flew MSP to DWF in July 2018 on The AAL MD-80 for the same reason...to experience it before they were retired. I loved it! Even bumped myself up to first class, which was amazing on the old bird!

Wonder if the pilot switch to delta sense they are still gonna fly mf88 for a year or 2 plus delta is a hub in msp

That’s a good question I wouldn’t think so senes he worked for American Airline for so long, and also they moved the MD88 out of MSP to Atlanta

I HATED working on that plane. I flew for another carrier as a Flight Attendant and we called it the “Slave Ship” maybe that’s why the AA FA’S are always so miserable..
