I hope that authorities will tell Jan from Vienna and his father a valuable lesson. There are reasons why crews are in charge on an airplane and not the pessengers. This rediculous young man obviously believes that he and is dad are the heroes of this incident. They‘re not.

This father and son held up the evacuation line, refused to listen to the airline’s evacuation and safety instructions, and put everyone’s life at risk with their actions.

The evacuation went slow because nobody would listen. He opened a door that couldn't be used. Threw out a flammable object, potentially harming crew below the airplane. Then from the videos, it showed passengers ARGUING with the flight attendant and fiddling with their bags, while the FA and pilots are demanding passengers evacuate and leave their belongings. The passengers and this dude made the situation 10x worse.

This young man has no effing clue what he did and what he is talking about! Both him and his father should be held responsible for their actions ! At least they should listen to the commands of the crew !

Funny that this sons and father speak perfect English to give interviews afterwords, but when the FA was screaming DO NOT TAKE YOUR BAGS, the a$$hOle father (in other video) seemed not to understand what she was saying and would not move and kept digging the overhead bin. 🙄😤

They weren't TRYING to be heroes. It sounds like they just had a panicked gut-reaction to danger. I wasn't there so I can only conjecture. Sometimes people panic and the first instinct to resolve the situation. I understand FA's supremacy in these situations. But I cannot judge.
