Love the HD’s! I have 2 of the 15’s (black baskets) and I also have 2 of the 12’s (blue baskets). Currently running the 12’s on a 500.1 and they bang! Good subwoofers!

As far as the damage it depends on you how you feel about it I wouldn’t care about the gasket much but the surround yesss that’s like buying a used sub

@@Outty5000Hertz when I spend my hard earned money I expect flawlessness on something brand new and don’t expect nothing else it would definetly bother me a lot I would stare at it all day and talk to it about returning it or should I keep it lol

I used to run HD's back in the day (2010). The 1st versions were very impressive. I ran 4 12's with 2 American Bass 500.1's in a no wall 04' Yukon. It metered 152 on the dash easy. Team Neo Vernon, a legend in no-wall, was doing 154+ with 4 15's back in 2008-09. I'm getting ready to grab a pair of the new HD15's myself for my Grand Cherokee. I can't wait to hear the new ones!

Something like that is not a big deal IF you cause it. I know it won’t affect performance but still shouldn’t be a product that was shipped. I don’t feel price should justify quality defects.

#outty5000heetz 47 I am running 4 hooligans with a 10" android head unit. All wire is temco 2/0, 3/0, 4/0 and 1/0 welding wire. Pushed by 2 taramps 12k. Dual 300 amp alts. One off ebay, the other local built.

Everything I have ever got from big jeff has has defects. I have a hooligan 15 that the top of the basket is beat up. I ask for a different one, andi had to pay 100 bucks ro ship it back

Damn now I know I'm not the only one I ordered 2 godfather series horn drivers awhile back from him and one of the push terminals was broke off, I had to buy a new diaphragm and replace it...I was a little upset and have not ordered anything else from him ever since

#outty5000hertz (719) I have a 98 gmc Sonoma I have a android 10 inch deck orion 500.4 for mids and highs. Soundqubed 6.5 and rockford fosgate p1 tweeters. Rockford Fosgate t1500-1bd and a rockford fosgate t0d412 in a sealed box behind the seat. Stock alternator sky high ofc wire and 2 knitic blu 600 batteries. I really want to do a blow through but need a tonneau cover. I would run the American bass as is...JS
