@Xylarxcode
@Xylarxcode 3 жыл бұрын
I don't think he was a coward. I think he just didn't want the bother of having to deal with Lester. Lester wants one year's pay with salary as his severance package. If he doesn't get that, he threatens to blow the whistle on how the company is choosing to spend some of its money on less than reputable affairs. Brad figured that just giving Lester what he wants would end up being cheaper than having to deal with the lawsuits and PR nightmares Lester would have otherwise given them. They lose money either way, but it was the lesser of two evils for them. At least, that's what I made of it. I didn't really see cowardice as a factor anywhere, but maybe I just overlooked it.
@anthonyhuynh4565
@anthonyhuynh4565 3 жыл бұрын
@@Xylarxcode you make a good point. It would've been a bargain basement deal to just give Lester what he wanted. Hell, it still would've been a bargain basement deal if they paid his salary for the rest of his life because all of that would be a drop compared to lost clients, loss of revenue, legal fees, etc.

This is why you have cameras in the office, or at least a witness.

Typically you have cameras and mics off when you talk face to face in the office, that way, secret/bad stuff can't be used against you. I feel like a guy claiming this kind of bullshit after writing this crazy ass letter would not be taken seriously, but who knows. Threatening to sick the IRS on the business is one thing, but they might destroy all their records before you can blink and it's nothing more than one guy shaking his fist at a company.
