A simple device like a tape recorder can sometimes be more valuable than gold.
@Xylarxcode3 жыл бұрын
I don't think he was a coward. I think he just didn't want the bother of having to deal with Lester. Lester wants one year's pay with salary as his severance package. If he doesn't get that, he threatens to blow the whistle on how the company is choosing to spend some of its money on less than reputable affairs. Brad figured that just giving Lester what he wants would end up being cheaper than having to deal with the lawsuits and PR nightmares Lester would have otherwise given them. They lose money either way, but it was the lesser of two evils for them. At least, that's what I made of it. I didn't really see cowardice as a factor anywhere, but maybe I just overlooked it.
@anthonyhuynh45653 жыл бұрын
@@Xylarxcode you make a good point. It would've been a bargain basement deal to just give Lester what he wanted. Hell, it still would've been a bargain basement deal if they paid his salary for the rest of his life because all of that would be a drop compared to lost clients, loss of revenue, legal fees, etc.
