I used to be able to afford to eat like that every day 2-4 years ago for me and my kids on my income :( now the same household commodity food/goods I need went from 2.17$ to 4.97/5.14$ and then x that by how many items you need at the grocer not want… it’s just sad what our economy is right now even post Covid with the profits these companies made even though supply problems went away alonggggg time ago still operating as such now with the prices. Then they wanna tell us it’s only 8% inflation. It’s like sure if you’re pissing down my back and calling it rain .-.

Honestly I only eat a breakfast like this once in a while at a greasy spoon restaurant. It's like a "hangover" breakfast or a family breakfast the day after Christmas of a family reunion or wedding. American sure, but not an every day kind of thing.
